The Dogon wallet or coin purse, echoes the theme of Africa, which was given pride of place by Hermès in 1997. Other Dogon Wallets in etoupe are going for £1k-2k on the preloved market and they are no longer sold on the Hermes site!
Recognisable by its Clou de Selle clasp, where a leather strap is delicately slipped through, it is finished in grained etoupe leather, silver tone hardware, and lined with soft lambs leather. It opens to reveal 5 card slots, 2 slip pockets and a removable coin purse.
Serial Code: X BY 010 NP which corresponds to 2016 production date.
